TERMS
Learn it. Build it. Operate it.
Linuxademy exists for a simple reason: to help more people understand Linux by building and operating real systems.
The idea
Linuxademy is focused on practical Linux and systems education.
The goal is not to replace documentation, books, formal computer science education, or resources dedicated to teaching every systems concept in exhaustive depth.
Here, the focus is practical: use Linux, the terminal, networking, services, containers, virtual machines, servers, and a small set of proven tools to build and operate real systems.
Your responsibility
Commands, configurations, scripts, infrastructure examples, and other technical material may need to be adapted for your environment.
You are responsible for reviewing, testing, securing, and deciding what you run on systems you control.
Linuxademy provides educational material and examples, not a guarantee that a particular configuration, command, architecture, deployment, or third-party service is appropriate for every situation.
Your membership
Some Linuxademy courses may be free. Others require an active paid membership or trial.
Paid memberships renew according to the billing period shown when you subscribe. You may cancel your subscription using the available billing management options.
Free trials
When a free trial is offered, its length and billing terms are shown before you subscribe.
Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription may become a paid membership according to the terms shown during checkout.
Course material
Your membership gives you personal access to the course material available under your plan.
Please don't republish, resell, redistribute, or make Linuxademy course videos, written lessons, or other protected materials available as your own product.
The systems, scripts, configurations, applications, and original code you create while learning are yours.
Third-party tools
Courses may use third-party software and services such as Linux distributions, hosting providers, cloud services, container tools, databases, APIs, development tools, and other infrastructure.
Those services have their own pricing, terms, availability, limitations, and policies, which may change independently of Linuxademy.
No guaranteed outcome
Linuxademy teaches practical Linux and systems workflows, but completing a course cannot guarantee a job, income, certification, business result, successful deployment, or other particular outcome.
What you build and what you do with it is ultimately up to you.
Keep it respectful
Don't abuse the service, attempt to interfere with it, access another person's account, redistribute protected course material, or use Linuxademy in ways that violate applicable law.
The service will evolve
Linuxademy is independently built and continuously improved. Courses, tools, features, pricing, and parts of the service may change over time.
Linux and infrastructure tooling also change over time, so commands, interfaces, distributions, dependencies, and third-party services shown in courses may change.
Existing subscriptions remain subject to the billing terms presented for them unless those terms are properly changed or a new plan is chosen.
Questions
Linuxademy is independently built and operated.
If something is wrong, you have a question about your account, or you need help with the service, contact linux@linuxademy.com.
One last thing
Linuxademy is ultimately about independence.
Open the terminal. Understand the machine. Connect the systems. Debug the problem. Secure it. Operate it.
Build systems you understand and control.
That's the mission.
